The Alchemist: Great Story of a Boy's Adventure…

The time before, I never read novel since I was student of Senior High School included the several most popular novels in this country which are filmed such as Ayat-Ayat Cinta (AAC) or Ketika Cinta Bertasbih (KCB). I believe that there are many more useful activities other than read the novel, the story of writer dream.

My girlfriend bought me The Alchemist when I came back to my hometown. She said that it for my material in my way. She ask me to read it. In other words, I have to read this book. Because of that, I started to read this book….

This story told about the boy adventure to get the treasure trove (read: harta karun) which make his journey is so very long. He meet many people in some places of Mesir. He meet the thief who take over all of his money. He meet the Fatima, the Arabic girl whom he falling love of. Then, he meet the alchemis who guide him to take his treasure. He can get many of meaning of life by this journey.

The moment which I very like is when his girlfriend let him go to get his treasure without any exception. It make me remmeber my girlfriend who gives me this great novel....

I think this novel give many “things” to its reader….

Bipedal Robot using Arduino (I called this as BX-010912)

Now, I am designing my own bipedal robot. I have bought the twelve servo for construction. The mechanical design is also finished. Although the servos is second ones but I hope there is no bad condition.

I am using Arduino as its processor and controller. This controller equipped with the MegaServo.cpp library (you can get it from arduino collection library in its official web page) for control many servos in one sweep. If you have seen the other multi-servo robot using servo controller such as linxmotion, I hope by using this controller only, my robot can be built without problen in control system.

Now, I still design for algortihm for its sequences. For further step, I intend to develop the algorithm using neuro based (cognitive, neurorobotic) algorithm in order to make this robot became adaptive facing its environment. Of course, if its algorithm is used, I need more sensor for its environment information and itself condition too. I am planning to use gyros sensor, pressure sensor and ultrasonic sensor. All of its output will be processed to get the most effective movement. If one of you has same interests with me about this, I will happy if we can discuss and learn together...
