Dark Shadow (How Confusing Film!!!)

this movie is not as scary as its poster.....

I didn’t intend to watch this movie but my lady want to. However, after I was reading that the actor of this film is Johny Deep I thought that this movie will be great movie like previous film he starred ( Pirates of Caribean, etc.). Then, by this short place I will review about this film from two of perspectives e.g. story and cinematography

Story

This film tell about Barnanas Collins (Johny Deep), a vampire who is waking up from his long sleep. Actually, he began to be vampire because of the curse from his past girlfriend, Angelique (Evan Green), who is actually his servant.

After he lives again, he goes to his previous home and meet his family. With those family member, he want to build his family company so it can get its glory as his parents. To do that, he has to against Angelique. This conflict is mixed within love and glory between both of them. Moreover, Angelique still love Barnanas Collins and want to get her love again.

I am not sure about this true genre because this film contains of  horror, commedy, sex and love. All of those are mixed into one films. Although some people say that this films is unique and interesting but I don’t like that. I think it show that this film isnt consistent with its genre (in my perspective).

Cinematography

I can say that this film has good cinematography. Although the story is very confusing but the effect of this films is great. Sound, lighthing and shoot effect of this film is designed well and I got it. The little action in the last part of this films also good to be watched.

Between 0 to 10 I will give this film with score 6.5.

Hedonism and Indonesia

As my perspective, Hedonism can be described as life style of people who think that the happiness just can be gotten from money and expensive things owned. As long as it is not bad concept but it is not wise if we do when many of our neighbour is hungry. Is it good for our heart if we see other peoples sad because cannt buy their food but we usually throw our food because we don’t like it? I believe that your deepen heart will disagree with that!!!.

However, what I see in my country that’s answer doesn’t become the reality. We can see that many rich people buy many expensive thing and don’t care with other people. Of course, that’s is their rights for buy something they want. But have they thought that what is if their money used for buy those expensive thing was used for other people sho very need it???

I will give one example. We can watch now that many our celebrities especially women bought their hand-bag such as ‘HERMES’ which are very expensive for majority people. I cannt say who is that, but I think you can easily browsing by internet or watching in television because it is the hot gossip now.

In other phenomenon, rich people likes to buy luxurious car by their money. Its is true that it is their right because they buy theyselves. However, the bad side of this case is that they always use the premium which is subsidized and sold just for poor people in this country. Although there is still no law for this informal rule but in my perspective, that’s not good at all especially for that people. Some pictures below show that the ‘ALPHARD’, very-very expensive car,  drink premium.I can say that the owner of this car is heartless!!!.

Two sample of the hedonism phenomenon in our country above give little illustration that hedonism is living peacefully in Indonesia. This condition can make the gap within the rich and poor people became bigger and bigger and that condition is not good for our socio-cultural people development.

As my religion, Islam, we have been teached to be simple in life style. We havent to showw of our finance condition especially if we are rich people. That will minimize the gap of finnace condition among people. Also, as moslem, we have been told to give what we have to other people as many as we can. That is my religion rule and I love it.

What if all of people in this country, Indonesia, don’t show off their finance condition to minimize the gap and among people help each to others? Is it peacefully, isnt it? I don’t hate the people. I just give my argumentation....…I love peace

THE RAID : The most action movie

Poster of The Raid.....how a scary!!!!!

I watched this movie in previous several months with my lady. Although this review is late, but I think this is still interesting to be talked about. This review consists of three point of views e.g. story, action and cinematography. Let begin it...

STORY

In sort, this films told about the attack of the police special team (they didn't named this team by specific identity) to the apartement whose the gangster, Tama. This appartment is very mysterious because several mission to attack it is always  failed. This  because of the cooperation within the gangster with the police head.

This recent mission is different with the previous mission because this is held just  for the leader ambission, Wahyu. The police team was trapped in the 6^th floor by the gangster. In this condition, the polices have to chose whether kill or killed by the resident of the apartment. This condition make the blood is crashed in everywhere of this floor...(what a bloody fighting!!!).

The Mad Dog who is the gangster member has killed the commander of police team. An the final fighting, he fighted Rama (main actor) and Jaka (brother of Rama). By great fighting, finally Mad Dog was dead.

The final of this story is that the leader of gangster is killed by the Wahyu who killed himself. The the last one of police who is still life is just Rama, the main Actor (as what I predicted before...)

This story is not interesting at all. Then, the dialog among the actor is very little. In onther words, majority of this films is consisted of bloody fighting. Some of other people review, they said that this ending film is not clear at all too. However,  I realize that this film actualli is made for the action film hobbyst instead to promote the “PENCAK SILAT”, popular Indonesian marial arts, to over world.

ACTION

There is no doubt that this film is the greates action films. Based on my perspective, the fighting in this film is not only about kick and hit the people but also about the art to perform the fighting. This make the film is different with the common Box Office film.

Bloody fighting is designed to be beautiful to be watched. I think that word is perfect match with this action style film.

CINEMATOGRAPHY

Although I am not the cinematographer, but as spectator of this film, I think I can feel, hear and evaluate about this cinematopgraphy. Based on technical view, I think this film is good. Then, this film has many good angle of view especially in fighting moment. The sound effect of this films is also good because the sound of fignting in this film is likely natural effect. The fighting style of this films is very great too.

Based on my review, between 0 to 10 stars, I will give this film with 9 stars. Please don't bring your kids to watch this film. This film is very hard for their psychology!!!! (WARNING!!!!)

Secure e-Trading With Your Voice!!!

The development of information and communication technology  (ICT) is rapidly changing human lifestyle. Now, human can do many activities especially finance-related activities such as banking or trading (e-commerce, e-trading and e-banking) by using internet. It is absolutely ease human activity but in other side, it will endanger their private data from the impostor or eavesdropper over network. Consequence of this problem is the need of higher level of verification security.

However, the provider of online finance-related activity still uses conventional methods such as PIN number and password although this verification method is very mature from the cyber crime attacks such as hacking, cracking and carding. Therefore, we need higher secure verification method to secure private data of users and biometric system can be a solution in this problem.

Biometric is identification method  using human physical identity of user such as face, voiceprint, gait, etc. This method is more reliable than conventional one because its characteristics or feature is specific for each human. Moreover, this biometric cannot easily imitated by others who are not legitimate.

We implement voice biometric using unique feature of voice as human identity in the web login page. Instead of its security consideration, voice biometric is the most feasible biometric to be used in the internet application because the microphone is the standard equipment for online activity so user does not need the other equipment anymore.

This system is built using 14 MFCC coefficients, 12 mixtures of GMM and Secure Socket Layer with RSA 1024 Bit encryption for network security.

This research result will be beneficial for e-commerce/e-trading and e-banking application which need very high security tool for their customer account.
