In this conference, I gave the presentation about my research did when I was student of college some years ago. My paper title is “ Implementation Secure Voice Verification at Web Login Page Using Mel Frequency Cepstral Caoefficient and Gaussian Mixture Model”. This research is done with research advisor, Mr Suyanto, my lecturer. Although this is the past research, I think this still relevant to be presented.
This research investigates the using of speaker recognition encrypted by some encryption algorithm in web login page. Actually, the target of this research is the e-banking application. In my perspective, this system will be implemented in the future time because the need of high security for user login will be much needed. By the way, this is my first time became the presenter in the international conference. Of course, because it is international event, I have to give the presentation in English. In the previous time, I never imagine that. However, I force myself to do it. And when the time is coming, actually I can do it with good enough presentation. Some of the listeners give the good responses although some of them give the critique about my research but that is fine for me. I realize that my pronounciation and grammar in English conversation is not good enough but I have to think positive and I have to struggle for myself. The condition is separated to 4 rooms for each research object area. And my research is belonged to room C, the smallest room in the conference, I think. In my perspective this conference is good enough with good participated researcher and facility and I don’t regret present my research in here.
